Michelle graduated from LSU Medical Center in 1993 with a BS in Occupational Therapy. With a passion for specializing in the upper extremity, Michelle furthered her education as a Certified Hand Therapist in 2000 where she specializes in all diagnoses and dysfunctions of the shoulder, arm, and hand. Michelle is also certified in Saebo devices and recently received her Certification in Lymphedema Management. Michelle is a very holistic therapist as she taps into all of her experience when treating her clients. Her focus in on empowering them with the knowledge to succeed. Raising student athletes has given her the understanding of what it takes to allow the body to perform at the optimal level as well as the support system needed for young athletes to reach their goals. Her experience in many areas of Rehabilitation include Hand Therapy, Neuro, Ortho, and Industrial Rehab/work station analysis. Michelle is married with two children and loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.
Katie Bouchillon, Spero Rehab's Owner and Clinical Director, founded her clinic with the vision of providing patients and their families with an innovative, research-based treatment facility that also provides for their creature comforts. The result is a clinic that balances state of the art equipment with personalized care; it focuses on professionalism and quality healthcare while offering a relaxed, soothing atmosphere for both patients and family members. Spero Rehab provides physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapies to both neurological and orthopedic patients, as well as offering a wellness and sports training program to patients, businesses, and the local community.
Katie has been a licensed occupational therapist in the state of Texas since 2005. She earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In order to meet the needs of her patients, Katie has been certified as an Assistive Technology Professional, a Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner and she has also been designated a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, by the Brain Injury Association of America.
Katie is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Brain Injury Association of America, the Texas Occupational Therapy Association and the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America.
Chris has been licensed in the State of Texas since 2014 and has worked at Spero since November of 2014. Chris earned his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. Upon graduation, Chris was certified and worked as a personal trainer for several years before reviving his dream of becoming a therapist. Chris holds a Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy. Manual therapy along with exercise technique and program design allows for a comprehensive approach to treat a variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.
Chris has been married for 10 years and has 4 children. He likes snow skiing and playing golf. Chris also enjoys camping and backpacking in the mountains.
Mike Wiechec, PT is a Generalist Physical Therapist who graduated in 2003 from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. At Oakland University, he was a student Athletic Trainer as well as Physical Therapy student where he gained knowledge in Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, and Inpatient Rehabilitation. After completing his Physical Therapy degree at Oakland University, he continued with his education in Physical Therapy with the University of St. Augustine.
Mike traveled across the United States as a Physical Therapist for 5 years working with patients suffering from injuries and dysfunction in Outpatient Orthopedic Clinics, Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health, Worker’s Compensation, Aquatic Therapy, Inpatient Neuro Rehabilitation, and Inpatient Acute Care Hospitals and Trauma Centers.
Mike has been licensed in the State of Texas since 2006. He diagnoses and treats Movement Impairment Syndromes by comprehensively assessing postural and pelvic alignment, foot and leg structure, and the quality of joint mobility. He treats each patient utilizing Manual Therapy techniques such as Joint Mobilization, Myofascial Release, and Strain Counter-Strain Technique for Postural Restoration and then corrects Biomechanical Dysfunction with Functional Exercise to improve the muscle imbalance the patient experiences by emphasizing proper dynamic posture, proper balance, proper sequential breathing, proper spinal recruitment, proper intensity, and proper duration.
Renee Batulanon has been a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant since 2013. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from the University of Texas San Antonio in 2009. After graduation, he was a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym. He is proficient in myokinesthetics and myofascial trigger point for postural restoration, correcting biomechanical dysfunction and improving muscular imbalance. Renee’s hobbies include fitness, outdoor activities, body building and sports.
Having worked in the field of Physical Therapy for over 22 years, more than 17 as a licensed professional, I have worked in most Physical Therapy settings, including a role as a Rehab Program Director. I believe in a hands-on approach to patient care and have Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy through Hands-On Seminars giving me a comprehensive skill set to treat all orthopedic and neuromuslcular conditions.
The experience I have gained allows me to understand and utilize effective time-management skills, work comfortably with all diagnoses, and more importantly, to help our patients return to the highest level of function they can attain, all while maintaining an ethical and best business practice approach to my delivery of care. Additionally, as a Clinical Instructor for Physical Therapist Assistant students in internship, my experience enables me to pass on the tools required to enter the field of Physcial Therapist Assisting.
As a martial artist and competitive endurance sports athlete I have a unique persepctive on injury recovery that allows me tailor treatment to the needs of those I work with.
Donde’ Wiltcher is the Director of Business Operations for Spero Rehab. She has over twenty years combined experience with banking and human resources and has been involved in fitness training and sports/dance coaching for New York University.
Donde’ relocated to Katy with her family when Spero opened to help lead the Spero Team. She and her husband have two children and are very active in their location church and school related activities.
Kimberly Vasquez is the Front Office Coordinator and Insurance/Billing Specialist at Spero Rehab.
Kimberly is currently studying at the University of Phoenix and working towards her Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management.
Stacy Foster has been a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas since 1995. She joined the Spero Rehab team with over 17 years of experience as a Brain Injury Specialist after her time at The Institute for Research and Rehabilitation (TIRR Memorial Herman) for 17 years.
Stacy also has experience and enjoys working with individuals who have suffered with amputations and/or spinal cord injuries. Stacy recently earned her Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy (MCMT). In her spare time, Stacy enjoys coaching fast pitch softball, camping, and anything else that gets her outdoors.
Keely is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist with 3 years experience. She received her Bachelors of Rehabilitation Sciences and Masters of Occupational Therapy from College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. She joined the Spero Rehabilitation team after her initial stint at The Institute of Research and Rehabilitation (TIRR Memorial Hermann) in which she worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings treating primarily neurological diagnoses, as she was part of the Brain Injury Team.
Keely has had a variety of outpatient experience including pediatrics, neurological disorders as well as orthopedic injuries. She has taken a variety of continuing education courses ranging from hand therapy to seating and positioning to neuroplasticity. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy (MCMT). In her spare time, Keely enjoys fitness and weightlifting, traveling, and outdoor activities.
Sierra Andreason has been a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas since 2016. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to physical therapy school, Sierra graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in College Station.
Sierra has experience and enjoys working with patients diagnosed with various neurological disorders, including Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injuries, Strokes, and Traumatic Brain Injury. She is outgoing, enthusiastic, and passionate about her patients. She loves watching her patients improve and grow throughout therapy.
In her spare time, Sierra enjoys swimming laps, hiking, playing with her Australian Shepherd Penny, paddle boarding in the ocean, and spending time at the beach.
