Emily graduated from Texas Tech University in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in psychology. After graduation she decided to take some time to gain experience in the rehab field before applying to Physical Therapy programs. It was at this time that Emily began working for Spero Rehab in Katy, TX as a rehab tech, where she had the opportunity to work with clients with a variety of neurological and orthopedic injuries. After working at Spero for nearly 2 years, she was accepted to the Doctoral Physical Therapy program at Texas State University. Emily graduated from the Texas State DPT program and became a licensed Physical Therapist in 2016.

Prior to working at Spero Rehab, Emily worked at Dell Seton Medical Center at University of Texas gaining experience in the acute care environment, working with and advocating for patients in the acute care setting. Emily is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals.

Emily joined the Spero Rehab family again in July 2018 and has goals to become a Neurologic Certified Specialist to be able to provide the highest quality care to the people of Austin.
